Maillet also has a very special interest in contact lens fittings and the co-management of laser eye surgery and intraocular implant surgery. He provides thorough eye examinations for people of all ages, with a special interest in ocular health and general health management.

Over the last several years, he has worked as an associate optometrist within a variety of private practices throughout Halifax, Dartmouth, Upper Tantallon, Elmsdale, Windsor, and Lunenburg. Maillet is proud to have provided eye care services for Nova Scotians since 2005. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2005.ĭr. He then moved to Waterloo, Ontario to finish his studies at the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry. The final year of that program involved concentrated studies/research in immunology and healing. Maillet then moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to attend Dalhousie University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Microbiology & Immunology. After completing high school, he attended l’Université de Moncton for 2 years to obtain a Diploma in Health Sciences. Tim Maillet was born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick.
